I’m praying for strength beyond normal, to comfort you and your family. My condolence to you and loved ones. God does Not cause death right now. "Time and unforeseen occurrences befall all." Ecclesiastes 9:11. Remember: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,on Earth, as it is in Heaven." Matthew 6:10; Daniel 2:44. You see it is a government, that Jesus soon will rule as King. It will bring no death, sickness, pain, tears, peace, here on Earth. Plus the dead will live again, here on Earth. Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:11, 29; Isaiah 26:19. Make sure you look up all the scripture to see this is all true. There is more. If your interested please email me at:. kathy122346@gmail.com
Everything is free. Jesus said go free give free. Because it is from him.

I met Sheryl sometime in the early 1980’s when she was a nursing student at East Tennessee State University and my wife Peggy and I managed an apartment complex adjacent to the school. We had mostly students there but it was a pretty laid-back place. All we required from our renters was that they have consideration for their neighbors and to pay their rent on time (most of the time at least!)
Sheryl stood out from the rest of the crowd there and we all became friends. She and my cousin Terry Ponder, my roommate of several years David Price, and several other semi-respectable neer-do-wells went to quite a few concerts and trips to the mountains. I remember that we went to Roan Mountain to watch the Leonid meteor showers at least once. I also remember Sheryl and Peggy side-by-side at PB Scotts in Blowing Rock, NC. They were front row center at this really cool small geodesic dome club watching BB King in his prime playing his Premium Blues just for them, it seemed.
Sheryl was one of those very few people that I have met in this life for which extraordinarily rare and special things seem to happen. She had that kind of energy that drew these things to her. Or maybe she was the catalyst that sparked the flame.
After a few years, Sheryl graduated with her RN nursing degree which was her key to the highway! She decided to embark on this Grand Adventure looking for the destiny that she Knew she would find. She lived in a very small efficiency apartment and in preparation for her trip, she sold or gave away anything she couldn’t fit in to her very small Subaru station wagon. She put everything including her Hopes and Dreams into that tiny car and prepared to take off on the first leg of her epic journey. I believe it was to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The afternoon before she was to leave, I was working near her apartment and I saw her putting some last items in her car. That little white Subaru was packed to the rafters with her entire life of things that she had condensed to the point that they would JUST BARELY fit in that car! I stopped by to wish her well and in passing, I did a walk-around of her car, just generally looking it over. I remember like it just happened yesterday that I stopped at her left rear tire and saw a large bubble in the sidewall of her tire. It wasn’t small. It was potentially catastrophic! I stopped right there in mid-sentence and said, “Sheryl, you have a problem!” I explained to her that her tire was a blow out waiting to happen and that if it blew, with the weight in her car, it would be bad. No doubt. Bad.
She just waived me off saying that it would be “just fine” and for me not to worry. I told her that she Had to have a Tire! I tried to get her to go to the tire store with me. “I will buy you a tire” I told her. She continued to just wave me away saying it would be fine. After several minutes of “discussion” I had to concede to her insistence that it really would be okay.
I didn’t really believe it would be okay. It was a very serious safety issue but I realized then and several times since then that it is not a good idea to argue with a brick wall. This was not the same as arguing with a brick wall though. This was Sheryl Knowing that she had a Destiny and that no sketchy tire was going to get in her way before she found it.
She Knew that she was going to have grand adventures. See things that most of us will never see. Do things that most of us will never do. Feel things that most of us will never feel.
She knew that this man here was waiting for her. She knew that these fine young men were waiting to be born from that union. She just knew.
Sheryl had faith and I realized that when even though I strongly suggested that she get a tire for her car, she Knew that some little (BIG) bump on a tire was not going to keep her from that destiny.
She had faith. And that faith has brought us all here today. To celebrate her and what she accomplished in her too short life.
What a gift she gave me! Faith. You just have to believe that what is meant to be for you is out there. You just have to be open and go Find It!
The best and really only way to Honor Sheryl is that we all be open to what is meant for each of us and Go Out And Find It!
What a gift!
Thanks to you all
