So sorry to learn of your loss. I worked with Gary and his dad Larry at the Blue Ridge Parkway in the bank building downtown and then at the Headquarters on the Parkway. Gary always had a smile and laughter that all enjoyed being around him. All of the family is in my thoughts and prayers. God's comfort and peace be with all of you.

My heart goes out to all of you as you lay my cousin to rest. I have such fond memories of Gary from when I was a kid. My Daddy always enjoyed being around Gary. When the two of them were together you could always be sure there was going to be alot of laughter.
Rest in Heaven....

Caroleen and family, we are so saddened by the news of Gary's passing. I will forever cherish the memories of working and traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway with Gary and the rest of the gang in the North Carolina Unit office . Few people in life ever reach the level of acceptance that Gary shared with everyone he ever met. My son, Scott, and I shall never forget helping Gary harvest tobacco that one year when Gary's father was injured.

I am very sorry to hear of Gary passing. He was always friendly and helpful to me as a young Park Ranger in the Swannanoa district. I lost contact as I moved away, but will never forget his professionalism and kindness as he served the public by serving the employees of the Blue Ridge Parkway. My prayers are with you.

Caroleen, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. We were the very best of friends growing up. When his family moved to Oregon I lost track of him until the 80's. He will be missed dearly. Gary would spend his summers with his Grandparents which lived across the ridge from me and if I wasn't there he was at the house so I guess you could say we spent our summers together. Our Dads worked together with the Blue Ridge parkway and in the summers we would go to work with them. We loved it especially when the Rangers would take us with them in their cars. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family.

So happy to have gotten to know Gary and Caroleen. They have been good friends to me. I already miss Gary and laughing with him as we joked about crazy stuff at Feed & Seed. He was a joy to be around. Never a dull moment. So happy when Caroleen and Gary came to Trinity.
I will miss you my friend. Much love to Caroleen and the family. Prayers for grace at this time.
