Dear Joan,
I am so sorry to learn of Ron's passing. My memories of Ron are all great. I looked to him as a mentor. He was a good family man and he sure loved his Joan! I'm just sorry that we lost touch after Cordis. With John dying, It was devastating. My son Clay did some outside lawn work for you guys and he also was saddened at the news. We would love to reach out to you sometime. I have twin granddaughters that are 12 from my daughter Jessie and her husband Rodney. Clay and his wife, Stephanie are expecting a daughter in June. Being a Grandmother has been the best part of my life! I am still working at the VA with hopes to retire in about 4 years.
With Saddened Heart,
Gail Stroupe

Joan,
Looking back growing up in a small town was
a plus. If you weren’t related you still knew most
everyone. We are so glad we reconnected here
25 years later. The nights the four of us spent
reminiscing about old friends and family were
a real joy. We will always remember the young and older Ron. Same great guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Ron at Cordis Medical as a secretary/receptionist. He was so kind and supportive when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He made sure my health insurance was continued while I was out of work for surgeries and chemotherapy. Without insurance I would not have received the medical care that I so desperately needed. Thank you, Ron, once again for what you did for me over 20 years ago.
With love and sympathy to your family,
Janice Israel
