We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "He [God] will wipe out every tear from there eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

It is so very sad to hear of Carolyn's passing. I did not know her very well at all, but she lived in the community were my own father grew up, and I should have known her better. A candle will burn during the Ballard reunion in October, so that, by this, all of us there can pay our respects.

Heaven has most certainly gained another angel ! Carolyn was one of my oldest and dearest friends and meant the world to me. It was 57 years ago that she and Dickie and Larry and I made our double elopement to Greenville, S.C., what a day that was! We had lots of laughs and many memories together. The world was a better place with her in it, giving of her love, kindness, and all the other qualities she possessed. May God bless and keep all of you who survive her. Love and prayers.

Dearest family,
My heart is with you as you lay your precious Mother to rest. I treasured her friendship and never saw her that she wasn’t smiling. Sweet memories remain, of her, of Dickie. God bless you all my friends.

You always brightened my day with your smile and kindness. You and Sheila were always so friendly. You were definitely my favorite patient and I will miss you very dearly. I will always remember our little talks and our laughs about you being my Energizer bunny. My deepest sympathies to your family and friends. Love always, Shannon Cooper (Scooper)

So sorry I didn't visit Joann before she passed. I lived on Reed Street in the 1960's and she & Dickie lived next door to me, I kept Sheila & Kim when she worked. I always saw her on facebook. Kept planning to go see her but never did, sorry now. Kim & Sheila I will be praying and thinking of you during this time.

Caroline was such a wonderful friend to me! She was my first true friend when I moved to Asheville 35 years ago. She seemed to love me right from the first moment we met. She is the only person I ever left my baby daughter with outside of the family. She taught me everything I know about being kind to people. I will miss her dearly but I know that if anyone is in Heaven it is CB! Rest in peace dear friend and hug my Mom for me please!

There are just not enough good and beautiful things to say about my precious aunt. She was so much fun and loved life and everyone in it. I spent as many nights with her and Uncle Dickie as I could, when I was 11 or12 so I could help keep an eye on Kim and Sheila while she rested up before going to work. It was more like being at a slumber party and we laughed all the time. You could always feel her love like something tangible and she never talked to me like I was a kid. She heard what I said and thought and seemed to always say just the right thing, Through the years, she;s been in my heart and prayers daily but I never visited as often as I could have and should have. I pray she always knew how much I loved her. and I;m still loving on that beautiful Siamese/Persian cat that she gave to me and Aidan years ago. Rest easy my darling aunt and give everyone we love a big hug . You will never be forgotten .<3
