To all of the Sluder and Tweed family -
I was out of town when Sandra passed and am just learning of the sad news. I have many wonderful memories of this amazing woman. The most precious ones are from my youth when Sandra was my Sunday school teacher at the Weaverville Presbyterian Church - she was a blessing to me! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. Sandra touched the lives of many in such a positive way - she will never be forgotten!
With love and sympathy-Becky

May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge. Nahum 1:7; God is "a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of ["takes care of"] those seeking refuge in him." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 147:3)

My deepest sympathy is extended to all of Sandra's family at this time. Sandra fought a long and courageous battle with this dreadful disease of cancer. Sandra and I were both school counselors, but in different school systems. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Our God has blessed us with being able to know Sandra for these past 6 years. She was truly an inspiration to us. Even through her sickness and laryngitis, she continued to attend Sunday morning services and Sunday night Bible study. Prayers to her family as she will surely be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Sandra as co-counselors at Sand Hill Venable. She was one of the most caring people I have ever met. She intuitively knew what a child needed and was a sounding board for me often. She loved her family and was a calming presence everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed.

Tweed & Lusk family,
We send our deepest condolences. Sandra handled life's ups and downs with so much grace. She always had the wisest responses to Mom's devotions on Facebook and in general. It would always prompt you to think about things from a slightly different perspective. Sandra was truly a living testimony for Christ and we are all blessed for the imprint that she has left in life. Enjoy your angel wings Sandra and RIP.

Sending you all love and peace, I'm so very sorry. I loved "Nina." she always put a smile on my face, even as she beat me playing Words. She was truly one of the smartest, and funniest people I'd ever met. I'm lucky to have known her.
Love you all, Dana Tabor
