So sorry to hear of Fred‘s passing. He was such a kind wonderful man, who gave me so many wonderful memories while in the fire department family. His big soft warm heart gave Santa memories to so many children including my three sons. My love to you Marianne and your family during this hard time

Fred was an upstanding guy! It was a pleasure and honor to know him both on and off the job. Fred was a man of honor and dedication. Sometimes a bit hard headed but always sincere. As we all know of the "Hawkinsville Fire Department" a term our friend Dennis Gast established several years ago all in fun. I will always remember Fred as a caring and sincere person. He will be missed by all! Unfortunately I can not attend his service but my sincere sympathy to Maryanne, Patty and all of Fred's family may he rest in peace.

Fred had an amazing heart and influenced all that he touched in their lives or careers. He was the ONLY Santa that our three kids ever knew he put forth such effort each Christmas. We loved how he gathered "insider information" on the kids coming to see him.
We worked together at Fire HQ for many years and Fred always served as that wise sage that we all need. While he formally taught me a lot, I cherish the countless lunches that we had together and all that I gathered from him.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Uncles passing. It's so hard to say good-bye to those we love so dearly. But there's always that silver lining of knowing we will see our loved ones again one day.
I will be thinking of y'all during this time and keeping you in my prayers.

So very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. We joined the Fire Dept. at the same time
Worked together at #1C for a while, and both loved our Goldwing's.
Have many memories of Fred that will never be forgotten.

I new Fred for a long time on SPFR. I enjoyed working with him and have even gone on bike rides with him a few times. He was a wonderful chief of EMS. He will be so missed.
