Obituary of LeAnn Cheek Davis
WEAVERVILLE– LeAnn Cheek Davis, age 47 of Weaverville, died Friday, October 4, 2019.
LeAnn was born August 15, 1972 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life, with the exception of her military service. A graduate of North Buncombe High School; she was a veteran of the US Army. LeAnn was a former hospital unit coordinator in Labor and Delivery at Mission Hospital and more recently worked with Tonya and Alan Shepherd. She especially enjoyed being with friends and family. She was the daughter of Joe Cheek of Weaverville and the late Darlene Cheek.
Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Jeff Davis; son, Trevor Cheek of Weaverville; stepson, Rohnan Davis of the home; sisters, Gina Kempf and husband Howard of Savannah, GA; brother, David Cheek and wife Joyce of Weaverville and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of LeAnn’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at The Barn at Paint Fork, 445 Paint Fork Road, Barnardsville, NC 28709. Rev. Steve Conard and Rev. Steve Freeman will speak.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at West Funeral Home.
