Kim, Stan, Ken, And Dale, I am so very sorry for your loss. You Mother was a very special lady and I have many fond memories of her and all of you from my childhood. She was always fun and lively and I enjoyed going over to your house. I remember when she talked me into dancing on her dance team - and I enjoyed that as well! There are a lot of special memories I carry with me. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Lori

I am very sorry for your loss. Edna was one of my favorite patients of all times! She would always come for her doctor visits with a smile on her face, funny stories, and something delicious that she had baked. We always talked about which sporting event she was going to that week for her grandchildren. We always had to plan her appointments around the sports schedules! She will be missed. I am sending all of my prayers for peace during this difficult time. I know as much as she will miss everyone here she is rejoicing in heaven and catching up with long lost loved ones that she has missed for so long and clogging on the streets of gold.

I first met Edna when I joined the North Buncombe High School Clogging Team I think it was 1976. Edna and Maxie and their whole family became such a great part of my life. I loved square dancing and Edna’s teaching and leadership of the team was one of my best teenage and young adult memories. I danced post high school with a big part of the high school team at conventions and we even traveled to Florida for a convention..Edna and Max were very brave to take on the responsibilities of that many young people..but we had a blast..I would see Edna during her rehabilitation time at the Bryan Center and to watch her work so hard to regain an active lifestyle just made me realize what a True “Steel Magnolia” she was.. I was so thrilled when she was able to return home and to attending Shindig on the Green again.. I caught her one time shuffling those feet behind her walker..I love her smile and generous community support, be it on the dance floor or “All” the many sporting events..thank you Mull young’uns for sharing your Moms love and talents to some of us other young’uns in the community. I will cherish my season and memories Ms Edna helped make for me..with love ..families in Christ..Kathy Bruce Roberts
