My sincere condolences to Anthony’s family. I know that many called him “Big A”, but I knew him best as Anthony.
I had known him from work at MSD, not to mention occasionally stopping to talk to him when my wife and I would take walks past his home in Weaverville. We worked in the same department for the time when we was a Monitor. He was one who always had a smile on his face, just like the picture in the obituary. In fact, I can’t remember when he didn’t have a smile.
His conscientious approach to work was demonstrated by his dependability. Obviously, he was recognized as a hard worker, but that never stopped him having fun. If laughter was heard, you could be sure that Anthony was close by. Maybe that is what helped him keep that smile going.
I will truly miss Anthony, but am sure that he is finding joy and happiness where he is at now.

I'm sorry for your loss. I knew Big A from MSD. I worked there as a plant operator for 25 years from February 1988 until March 2013 when i retired and moved to Mississippi then.Big A was always quiet and well liked by everyone. He never grumped, griped or complained. He would hang in there with the job at hand and get it done. He loved his Motorcycles and life. He was a great person to work with and talk to.He'll be missed by all that knew him. Y'all have my sincere condolences.
