A.C. - I have such wonderful memories of you and Lila. I know mother and daddy (Maurice and Helen) thought a lot of both of you. My prayers are with you and your family. Heaven received another beautiful angel. Please give my condolences to Art and Tim.

Lila was one of the sweetest ladies we’ve known! We so enjoyed visiting her and A.C. at their house in recent years when they weren’t always able to attend church. They were a joy to be with and what a love they had for each other and their family! We pray your hearts will remain filled with the joy she has given you that will overcome your present sorrow.

Carolyn and Phil,
Mom often talked about your visits. She truly enjoyed them. She was concerned that she still had the container for the Russian tea mix that you brought by for Christmas. She enjoyed the afternoon cup of tea several times over the past few weeks. By the way, we placed the empty container in the box with the other containers dropped off by the church.
Thank you again,
Art

Lila was such a sweet sweet lady. Always smiling. Made the best banana pudding she’d bring to the family reunion. We are praying for y’all for comfort. I know she’s walking the streets of gold with Jean.

AC, Art, Pam, Tim, Pam & family,
I can’t begin to tell you how very sorry I am in the passing of Lila. Although it has been many years since I have actually seen her, she was just as beautiful as ever! I love the tribute you shared of her and AC’s life together. A couple of thing I always remember of her: 1. I admired her wit and candor. She also said exactly what she thought. She called it as she saw it and did not apologize for it. 2. She was not afraid to tackle anything. Her work ethic was strong and she could do anything she sat her mind to. Love and prayers to each of you!

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Dad and I will never forget meeting Marie, A.C., Art, and Pam on that 2009 trip to Europe. Marie and A.C. were great to talk to on that trip and I'll never forget seeing Art push his mom through the gravel and pavement of many of the sites we stopped at during that trip.

Brent and Christine,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Although there were only eleven short days that we spent together in Europe, Mom and Dad often spoke fondly of of that trip and also of you Brent. Remember dinner at The Hofbrau(sic) House in Munich?
