As a resident of Deerfield I became friends with Linda when I began taking flowers to residents in Assisted Living where Linda worked in activities. I could see how kind and compassionate she was with the residents, and especially patient and caring with those with memory issues. I watched her go through the difficulties of cancer treatment with grace and courage. She'll always be a shining star of perseverance in adversity in my memory. May her family and friends be comforted in this time of loss and transition. My life was enriched by knowing Linda. Lucy Oliver

Linda was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She didn't know and didn't like " mean" and her Christian heart was full. She loved animals, antiquing, " pretty things", rocking on porches, the simple life and her children. In return she was loved by her residents at work, family members, co workers, friends, Kentucky cousins and all of the animals she met. I have no doubt that she made a positive and lasting impact on my life and that of many others. Rest now my friend and fly.........
