Obituary of Ann Ingle

WEAVERVILLE– Ann Ingle, age 65, of Weaverville, died Saturday, May 2, 2020. Ann was born January 26, 1955 in Buncombe County, where she had lived all of her life, to the late Elmer David and Verna Mae Edwards Harris. She was a CNA and had worked in many nursing homes in the area. Ann was a member of Westview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ingle. Surviving are her son, David Jones and wife Debbie of Canton; sisters, Debra Shelton and husband Billy of Weaverville, Pam Talley and husband Gene of Asheville and April Riddle and husband Tim of Swannanoa; caregiver, John Boger of Weaverville; boyfriend, Donald Thomas also of Weaverville; one grandchild on the way; and dogs, Ittybit, Betty, Gismo, Monkey and Petie. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home. Rev. Preston Riddle will officiate. Burial will be in Long’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, there may be no more than 50 people gathered for her service at the funeral home and no more than 10 people gathered for the graveside committal.
