Uncle Frank was always a warm and kind man who gave us kids gum! He told fun jokes and smiled so much of the time. I have such great memories of him and Aunt Grace. Grace, my heart goes out to you and I send hugs with love.

What a wonderful Father-in-law he was to me. Not only that, but he was my Hero and should be a Hero to all of us for his dedication to God, his Country and his family. I will miss him so much until I see him again

I did not know Mr. Buckner but he was a hero in every sense of the word. He and my Dad were just one year apart in age but my Dad checked out in 2005 from Cancer. He was in the Army Air Corps on Tinian when they dropped the bomb on Japan. So, he and Mr. Buckner were from the same cut of wood. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Buckner, family and friends. He stood for the best of us. Gerry Huntley, Fairview, NC

Uncle Frank always seemed quiet and reserved to me, until Aunt Grace walked in. Then, his face would light up and he would laugh and tease her. He will be missed by many.
