Ila was a very wonderful Loving-Cousin to those of us that knew her for years. My Mother {Violet G. Freeman} thought the world of her as a 1st Cousin.. She lived a good-long-life to the fullest, enjoying her Church & Family..

My Dad, Walter Ball, spoke often of his cousin, Ila Taylor. His Dad, George Henry Ball, was the 13th child of James Manley and Sarah Ball, and the youngest brother of Ila's Grandfather, Wesley Ball. I asked him once did he name me after her, as my name is Ila Marie Ball, he said "no", he just liked that name. It is not a name that is heard often. I admired Ila as she always had a smile and such a warm, pleasant disposition. I saw her last when I visited my mother-in-law, Mary Ann Teague, who was also at the Brian Center, before her death in April. I am sending my deepest sympathy to Randy and Larry and the family as I know it is so hard to not be able to visit with them during their last days on this earth. We have the assurance that we will meet again in Heaven soon where there will be no more goodbyes and we will spend eternity with our loved ones who have go on before. Praying that your memories will sustain you in the days ahead.
Your cousin, Ila Ball Teague

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother. It is hard to give up your parents but you know they are in a much better place. We lost our Mother, Ila Parham, 3 years ago last July. She would have been 96 also. We think they may have worked together at Mill's years ago as well as sharing their unusual name. Again our condolences.

My heart rejoices for Miss Ila's homegoing to see her Jesus and those gone before her but my heart hurts for you,
Randy, Lynn and Larry, for the time that you have had not being able to be with her over the last 9 months. Please know in your hearts that you did what you could for her during this hard time and she is now now at perfect peace. I loved her so much and all the years our families have known each other I will treasure in my heart as wonderful memoires.
