Obituary of Adlai Brown

ASHEVILLE – A private burial for Adlai Brown was held at West Memorial Park, Weaverville on Monday, October 5, 2020.

He is survived by his parents, Rev. Chris and Anna Kathryn Brown; sisters, Emma Rhymes and Phoebe Flowers Brown; grandparents, Rev. Ron and Susan Brown, and Stuart and Janie Clarke; and by great-grandparents, Ruth Brown, Gretchen Clarke, and Rev. Dale and Ann Linton.

Adlai’s name means “God is Just”, and is reflective of his parents’ firm faith that God does what is right, even when we do not understand it, as seen most clearly in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

West Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
