Obituary of Edna B. Webb

BARNARDSVILLE – Edna B. Webb, age 92, of Barnardsville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Mrs. Webb was born November 4, 1928 in Buncombe County to the late Jake and Linda Banks Ball; she was a resident of Buncombe County all of her life. Edna loved gardening when she was able, doing crossword puzzles and reading her Bible.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Cleotus D. Webb who died in 1974; two sons, Jimmy and Nathan Webb; and a daughter, DeEtta Webb.

Surviving are her children, Donna Fulbright and husband Paul of Old Fort,  Rev. Jerry Webb and wife Evia of Barnardsville, and Eli Webb and wife Linda of Atlanta; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend Charles English will officiate. A private burial will be in Webb Cemetery, Barnardsville.

For those who wish to pay their respects, Mrs. Webb will be available for viewing between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the funeral home.  The family will not be present.

Per the NC Governor, masks are required. Those who choose, may listen to the service on their car radio by tuning into FM 87.7, while in the parking lot of the funeral home.
