I would like to share some memories of my Great Father in Law and Great friend Buck. I started driving trucks going a long with my Dad running to California. Then I would go on some trips with Buck hauling furniture to Arkansas and Oklahoma then we would come back to Little Rock Arkansas to load cotton. Buck could flat out drive a tractor and trailer, he could blindside back a trailer better than anyone I`ve ever seen, those old cotton gins were built back in the 1940`s, you barely had enough room to get a trailer in he could blindside back it in 1`st try it would take me 10 times. So when I bought my first truck it was a cab over Peterbuilt like Bucks we were matched pretty even power wise but he was geared a little lower than me, so on the open road I could hang with him but hauling 80,000 lbs of top heavy cotton thru the Gorge he would run off and leave me. I tried to hang with him a few times but some of those curves in the Gorge would make you leave a crease in the seat, but man he could fly thru there. He also gave me my CB handle Main Man and also I had Z28 Camaro one time so he would either call me Z Main or just Z. There are so many Memories i could share but in closing talking about the Gorge there was a little Truck Stop on the left when you come out of the Gorge he would say I`ll meet you at the Truck Stop, so when I finely would get to the Truck Stop he would have all ready ordered our Breakfast and say Z where you been, I thought I was going to have to come looking for you laughing the whole time. My Prayers to all the Family Mitch Tate

Dear Buckner family, I met Frank thru my friend Betty Walker. I always enjoyed talking to him, especially when it came down to food. He loved black walnuts and I would baked him black walnut cakes and black walnut brownies. My condolences to the family
and to Betty. Always cherish the memories you have with him. Gone but never forgotten.
