My condolences to the entire family. Sandy & Judy cared for me & Kacy after school and put up with a lot of our teenage antics! She was always so patient with us and did everything she could to make sure we were happy. I often look back on those days with fond memories. I'm happy for her that she is now pain-free and able to once again move freely <3

Praying for each of you during Sandy's home going. She was such a special person. I knew during her years of working in the grocery stores.

I was a friend of Sandy's, starting from the time I first met her at Alexander Chapel U.M.C., her home church. I grew to be a friend of both Sandy and her sister Judy over the years, always welcomed into their home. I liked Sandy a lot. I mourn Sandy's passing but rejoice that her passing was on to Glory-land. Sandy always seemed to make one feel welcome with her ready love, acceptance and camaraderie. And her food!
Many people knew Sandy who will not have the opportunity to send their condolences to her sisters and brothers and all the family...though I know they would want to do so. I feel that all the many people who have had dealings with Sandy have benefitted from that contact with her. That is part of the fulfillment of being the kind of person the Word of God instructs us to be...to love God and others even in the same way and as much as we love ourselves. Sandy lived this...while at the same time brooking no nonsense!
My condolences to Judy and the family. May God Bless you all.
Gary Seiler.

Sandy was my 1st cousin, and she, Judy, and I have had so many good times and fond memories growing up, with vacations and visits, and of course, food!. My mom, Helen, and their mom, Mildred, were sisters; they were close and we were close. It is a blessing to have family who all love each other and help each other, and the entire Buchanan family is a shining example of that. Sandy always made you laugh, and she loved everyone around her. May God send His peace and comfort to each and every one of the Buchanan family. We all are sending our heartfelt prayers to each of you. I love you all.
