Pat, was the first teacher I worked with at North Buncombe Elem. I was her assistant. We shared so many great memories. When she said in her Christmas card this year that she had been "under the weather" she never told me how serious it was. I am so sorry. She was always so loving with the children and kind. Even though we lived miles apart, she always stayed in touch with me. I will never forget her and all the encouragement she gave. Please know you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed by so many.

I'm so heart broken and sad today as I found out. I remember the sweet spirit of the Lord, that Patty showed everyone in 1970's. It grieves us to lose someone so dear as Patty. I'd like to send love and condolences to the family. It's a tragic loss and my heart is broken. I'll never forget Patty and she treated me so nice, always. Never judging me. Psalms 116:15, reminds me of the faith we have in such a loss.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of one of his saints." That is Patty. Love, James

I am so sorry to hear Patty's passing although, I am happy that she is out of pain and in the arms of our Saviour. The thing I remember most about her was the love she had for her sister Joanne. They shared a bond that you don't often see. My prayers are with Patty's family.

Dear family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Great Aunt Patty's passing earlier this week.
My Mother (Jerri Lynn) and I thought the whole world of Patty.
She was truly a special lady and great light in this world! I know she was so proud of her family and especially her grandkids and how much she loved you all. She will be greatly missed.
All our love and prayers go to all of you today and days ahead.

My Dear Sweet Cousin,
You were a light in our daily lives,
You brought us together and taught us about our family,
You opened your home to all that came,
You shared a meal with one or all,
You gave love when we needed,
You listened to our hurt,
You shared in our joy,
Sweet Cousin, you will be our eternal light as we go forward.
R.I.P. CUZ!
Love Wen

Nana had such a huge impact on all of us. She sent us a card every week, for years. When she was a day or two late she would call or text to let us know it was on it's way. She had enough heart, grit and determination for all of us. She helped so many of us understand what true love meant and she will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully Nana. We will never forget you.

I would like to extend my prayers for comfort to Levi and all of Patty’s family. Our church family will join you in missing her, but also in celebrating the sweet memories that we were so blessed to have had with her. I will certainly miss serving and sharing with my church buddy and friend.

My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of their beloved Patty. Prayers to you all at this difficult time. I have known Patty since grade school so we go back a very long ways. We became dear friends and through our trip through life we shared much laughter, happy times and made many good memories. She was a private, caring , loving person, always putting others first. Patty dearly loved her extended family and siblings especially her sweet sister Jodi with whom she had a very special bond. She adored her children and grandchildren and lit up like a Christmas tree when she spoke of them!. She was a very special lady and it was my pleasure to have known her. I will forever treasure her friendship. Rest in Peace Patty.
Love You Girlfriend!
