Obituary of Carol Vehmeier McWilliams

MARSHALL – Carol Vehmeier McWilliams, age 94, of Marshall, died February 20, 2021.

Mrs. McWilliams was born May 4, 1926 in Stephenson County, Illinois to the late Ralph Clarence and Joanne Pelto Vehmeier.  She formerly worked  at Stephenson County Nursing Home.  Carol enjoyed gardening, volunteering at Mission Hospital and the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Paul McWilliams who died in 1992; and a daughter, Diana McWilliams.

Surviving are her children, Paula J., Douglas L., Michael D. and Kirk A. McWilliams; seven grandchildren, Michael P. McWilliams, Caroline Bellizzi, Ryan, Justin, Christopher, Megan and Sean McWilliams; and two great grandchildren, Amelia and Dean Bellizzi.

No services are planned at this time.
