Obituary of Anna Worley Roberts

WEAVERVILLE – Anna B. Roberts, age 92, of Weaverville died Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Mrs. Roberts was born March 10, 1929 in Haywood County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life.  She retired from Square D Company. Mrs. Roberts was a charter member of Pine Burr Park Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, gran-gran, nanny and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; two sisters and her late husband, Sam Worley.

Surviving is her husband, Rex Roberts; daughter, Susan Jordan; son, Mike Worley and wife Susan; one step-daughter and one step-son; sister, Judy Lineberry; brother, Francis Caldwell; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one step-grandson.

Her service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in the mausoleum at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Reverend Jim Moore will officiate.
