We loved Bud and always looked forward to his calls onWednesday's . Love his greetings and his " have a good one" at the end. He was a wonderful Christian man and was a role model to all. Prayers for the family, but Bud is walking on his own greeting family and friends. No more confinement to the bed. He is in his eternal home. We will miss you Bud, but will see you again someday. Love to you! Roger and Sherry Maney.❤️

Kay and Becky,
I fondly remember visiting with the two of you, Bud and your mother when we were next door neighbors!! Bud called Mother through the years and most recently my sister, Nancy. Bud had a miraculous life in many ways thanks to Ruth and the two you.
My thoughts are with you as you grieve Bud.
Love,
Theresa Dillingham

My friend, my Buddy...always inspiring others even when he was disheartened. Can you imagine living 69 years and never taking a step? And we think we have it rough. But all of that is behind, he has heard his savior say "welcome home, my good and faithful servant!" Bud is truly one of a kind. I am proud to have known him here and one day we will run and shout and praise our Savior on streets of pure gold. Bud has been and still is an inspiration to many. I called the hospital to talk to him but could only think of what I had always called him "Bud Dillingham." The hospital person said "I know who you are talking about, he would call here every week" being a blessing to strangers. We sure are missing Bud, but heavens choir just got sweeter. God blessed us by us knowing this angel, unaware.

He was a very kind and sweet man, I enjoyed answering the phone when he would call my granny. All his pain and suffering is gone now and he is walking with our LORD.

My fondest childhood memories were with Granny and Ruth & Bud on the porch breaking beans in the summertime. The conversations, the wonderful lunches they made us and Bud playing games with me. He has always held the most special place in my heart as I’ve grown older and we talked sometimes three times a week and laughed at silly things and cried together over sad things. I will miss him so very much, I will miss answering the phone and hearing “hello, Baby girl!” But i know he’s finally with Maw (whom he missed more than he could say) and walking those streets of gold praising our Savior and shouting hallelujah and I wouldn’t bring him back here from that joy for nothing!
Bud was simply one of a kind and I loved his big ole heart just as much as he loved me! ♥️

Dear Bud's family,
Bud was a"True" Christian man & a good friend to all. His phone calls brightened up your day. He was never one to complain & always enjoyed a good joke. He would always say "Now you have a good day" & ended his calls with "Love ya". The birthday cards we sent him always got a laugh out of him as we would send him funny cards that had funny smiles with teeth on them. He would ask Debbie where she found those funny cards. "Bud, I had 7 more birthday cards in my card book for you!" My sister's husband passed away May 5th & Bud called her last Tuesday, to tell her how sorry he was about "Cranky", his nickname for Earl. Bud was very short of breath that day & Shirley said she would not take anything for that last call she would ever get from him. She said "Bud is in Heaven with Earl, walking on those streets of gold." He always called Shirley & Earl on Tuesdays & Debbie & our neighbor, Orville, every Thursday. We will miss our friend but we know where he is. Our condolences to Bud's family.

Curtis, Becky, and family I’m sorry to hear of Buddy’s passing. I’ll never forget he gave me a nickname that he still used when he would call the house and I answered. He always called me Sweetness. I loved Buddy and I will be praying for you all.
