I am greatly saddened to read of Dr Britten’s passing, he married my husband Bruce and myself in 1994. We talk of him often, I remember dropping Bruce’s ring during the ceremony and Dr Britten had to go pick it up lol.
I was actually just looking to see if I could find him to maybe (pleasepleaseplease) talk him into coming to Stuart Florida to marry my daughter and her boyfriend. She remembers him well also because of confirmation class…
So very sorry to hear of his passing, we are hoping he was surrounded by his family…

Y'all will never know how important Rev. Brittain was to, not only my family, but to me personally, when the Brittain family was with us at FUMC-Largo. I wish you God's speed Rev. Brittain, as you move on to your next assignment in your service to our Lord!!
God's blessings on the entire Brittain family!!!

A lot of fond memories of Bob's serving at First United Methodist of Jupiter-Tequesta. He was a great pastor as well as leader of our church. He made a difference in many lives with his caring manner. Thank you Bob.

Our Family knew him as Rev B. We was a great pastor to my family. He and I played racquetball regularly. He played golf with my older brother and my dad. He went camping with the MYF group in the carolinas. I remember all of us listening on the radio the night Richard Nixon resigned. We went down sliding rock together. My family has so many memories of our beloved Rev. B. He gave my dad's memorial service. He was a mighty man of God who put his faith into action. We love him and we will miss him.

I remember Rev Bob Brittain from the Charter days of Trinity United Methodist Church. My parents, Don & Joyce Craig respected Rev Brittain so much so that my Father asked Rev Brittain to speak at his funeral. My dad always wanted a brother and felt that Rev Brittain was the closest person to a brother he ever knew. My sister Denise and I grew up with Trinity, the families and the children. I express my condolences to the entire family. We love and respect all of you! Vicki (Craig) Sheppard
