I spent a lot of my childhood at Betty’s house. Now she is reunited with my childhood buddy Jeremy Banks and her best friend in this world—my mother Betty Lou Sawyer. Thank you Betty Banks for so many amazing childhood memories. You always were rejoicing and smiling. Your race is run. Your with God now! Jerry Sawyer

Betty was/is an angel. I cherish memories of being her neighbor across the road, and how she’d invite me and the kids over after she fed the hands. We’d sit and tell stories while the kids grazed the table, enjoying Betty’s full joyful laugh. Then we’d go into the living room where my daughter and I and Betty practiced playing the recorder. Betty even liked my pintos fixed with seaweed, lol. Best neighbor in the world and loveliest woman I ever knew.

I LOVED Betty Banks! When I was a teenager I never wanted to miss her class! I listened to my Dad's sermons but it was so special hearing the gospel message from her! She made everyone feel so special! I will never forget her love and support for me and my family! Janet Lee Carlton Conard. LOVE from all the Carlton sisters

We are so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a witness of our Lord and Savior. We were reminded of the times she taught us in Sunday School. She was steadfast and faithful. Prayers to a family we dearly love.
