Obituary of Lorretta Ann Waldroup

BLACK MOUNTAIN – Lorretta Ann Waldroup, 70, of Black Mountain, was taken to her Heavenly home on  September 6, 2021.

 

She was the daughter of the late Ed Waldroup and is survived by her mother, Emma Waldroup; brother, Ed Waldroup, Jr. (Sandra); and sister, Dinah Young (Floyd).

 

Due to Covid 19, a private graveside service will be held in Penland Cemetery, Weaverville.  Rev. Leonard Cole will officiate.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center, Rasberry I and Gravely I units, for the love, compassion, and exceptional care Lorretta was given over the years.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local charity.

 

West Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
