Obituary of Blake Bronson Ingle
WEAVERVILLE – Blake Bronson Ingle, age 86, of Weaverville, died Monday, October 4, 2021.
Mr. Ingle was born December 11, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. A veteran of the United States Army. He was the son of the late Roy Ingle and Bertha Creasman Ingle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Buttry Ingle; a sister, Maxine Cochran; and a brother, Kermit David “Buster” Ingle. He was the owner/operator of Ingle and Sons. He enjoyed singing in church and sung for many years with the Happy Rhythms. He loved big family gatherings, hunting, fishing, camping and his home in the mountains. Blake was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Israel (Frank); sons, Rory Ingle and Timothy Ingle; grandson, Jordan Israel; and sisters, Joann Barr and Madeline Pegg.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, Weaverville, with Rev. Brian Hanrahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
