Obituary of Carroll Pegg

Carroll Pegg, age 74, of Elderberry Nursing Home died Friday, November 26, 2021.

Mr. Pegg was born September 14, 1947, in Henderson County to the late Carroll Creed and Fleta Hyder Pegg; he was a resident of Buncombe County where he had lived most all of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Georgia McMinn, Ruby Swann, Ava Wells, and Faye Cole; and brothers, James, Richard and Raymond Pegg.

Surviving are his sisters, Elizabeth Harkleroad, Helen Keene, Janice King, and Sandra Robinson.

His funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2021, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend Allen Rash will officiate. Burial will follow in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Monday, prior to the funeral service.
