Obituary of Earl Vincent Shellenberger

WEAVERVILLE   – Earl Vincent Shellenberger, age 38, of Weaverville, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.

Earl was born September 1, 1983, to Veronica Faye Smith Weaver and the late Richard Henry Shellenberger, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Surviving are his mother, Veronica “Faye” Smith Weaver and stepfather Tom Durancik; sister Christy Gonzalez; and brother, Frank Hughes.

God called home his angel after 38 years. Earl also known as Earl the Pearl was an inspiration to everyone he met. He enjoyed his day program at Irene Wortham Center. He stayed very active and enjoyed life. His favorite thing he enjoyed was Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

His laugh was infectious and he will be missed more than one could imagine. He was a true blessing to everyone he met. Earl taught us all that no matter what challenges you had in life to never give up and find the beauty in each day.

Take Heart and know Earl is a guardian angel in Heaven looking down and protecting us all.

A private family memorial service will be held at a future date.
