Obituary of Lisa Gail Swann

Lisa Gail Swann, age 58, of Asheville went to be with her Heavenly Father Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

Ms. Swann was born March 17, 1963 in Maryland to Palmer Buttry and Joann Barr. She was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. Lisa loved all animals, from dogs, monkeys and elephants to her cat, Queenie.  She loved everything about the beach as well as getting together with family.  Her pretty smile will be missed by them. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Dean Swann and her sister, Pamela Ann Swann.

Ms. Swann is survived by her father, Palmer Buttry; mother, Joann Barr; sister, Sandra Ward and husband Bryan; several nieces and nephews and lots of cousins.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at West Funeral Home Chapel, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, NC. Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin will officiate. Interment will follow at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at West Funeral Home Chapel.
