I met Lynda through the Created to Thrive Mentoring Program. She was a bundle of fun, light and joy and we had many interesting and uplifting conversations together. She was a great encouragement to many of us artists and will be dearly missed. Lifting you up in prayer, Mark, and your entire family.

Dear Mark,
Alice and I were deeply saddened to learn of Lynda's death. She was a wonderful and gifted woman, whom we admired for her gifts and talents and for her warm smile and welcoming personality. We have always felt that the two of were an ideal couple, evidencing delightful personalities and joined in common interests. Alice and I were reminded today of the good times we have shared with Lynda and you, making music and enjoying good food and drink. We will always treasure these memories and our friendship with Lynda and you. We extend our deepest sympathy to you and the family during this time of sadness and loss and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Bill

My heartfelt sympathy to you, Mark, and to all of Lynda's family! What a good friend Lynda was...creative, funny, bright, and so clever! I used to meet her at the post office parking lot in Weaverville to carpool to Quilt Bee meetings when we were still quilters. She gave me a couple of her bead boxes when she was cleaning out her stuff several years ago because she knew I had so many embellishment beads that needed a home, and that was probably the last time I saw her. She looked great then, but that was before the cancer became uncontrollable, and then COVID struck, and we all hibernated and lost touch. I am so sorry that I was not aware of how serious her illness had become because I would have done anything for her.. Please know that she was so loved and respected by the entire artistic community in this area, and that she will be missed immensely. May peace and strength be with you all as you learn to adjust to life without her.
