Obituary of Eula Mae Anderson Hensley

WOODFIN – Eula Mae Anderson Hensley, 77, of Woodfin, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. Mrs. Hensley was born on July 29, 1944, in Buncombe County, where she lived most of her life.

Mrs. Hensley retired from Burnette Motors in Morganton in 1997.

She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Anderson and Zoeleenear Wills Broome and was the wife of the late Ronald Eugene Hensley who died in 1996.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hensley was also preceded in death by her brother, J.R. Anderson; and sister-in-law, Delores Anderson.

She is survived by daughter, Theresa Wilson; son, Michael Pike (Leslie) of Colorado; a sister, Juanita Ramsey; three grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson McCarson (Chris), Cody Wilson, and Devin Pike; and great-granddaughters, Adalynn Mae McCarson and Elise McCarson. 

Mrs. Hensley’s private graveside service was held Thursday, June 30, 2022 in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville.  Reverend Caleb Poole officiated.
