So many memories of being on that mountain when we were all kids. I remember it was during the winter and none of us had a lot to eat and David S. and Emmer as we called him, went squirrel hunting. They came back with enough squirrels to feed the bunch of us. David and Emmer skinned and cleaned them and Momma and Verna Mae made dumplings and biscuits. I also remember how Emmer loved the wrestling and we all knew not to sit next to him when it was on. He was always looking out for us when we came down to get on the bus for school. My heart goes out to you all and if I can do anything let me know. Janet Allen
