Obituary of Florence Ennis Riedesel

ASHEVILLE – Florence Ennis Riedesel, age 78, of Asheville died Friday, December 10, 2021.

Mrs. Riedesel was born September 16, 1943, in Capitol Heights, MD to the late Robert and Blanche Taylor Ennis.

Mrs. Riedesel was a resident of Maryland most of her life, having lived in Asheville since 2006.  She was a retired nurse.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Stephen Riedesel; daughter, Edna Riedesel; son, George Riedesel and wife Kelly, and their son Owen; neice, Robyn Riddle and sister-in-law, Ella Ennis.

Mrs. Riedesel loved painting butterflies, dragonflies, birds and flowers in watercolor. She was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Asheville.
